My fees for online & telephone counselling are £65 for a 60 minute session.
My fees for in-person counselling are £75 for a 50 minute session.
Generally your first session is a 'getting to know you' session.
It will be used as a space to help me to know you as a person, and for you to know me as a therapist. We will be discussing those presenting issues you are dealing with most, what specifically are you looking for in this new counselling experience, what specifically helps you in the counselling process etc. The first session is always a consultation.
Counselling usually refers to a brief therapy that centres around behaviour patterns. Psychotherapy focuses on working with clients for a longer-term and draws from insight into emotional problems and difficulties of your life's recurring themes or patterns.
I offer both short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy. With short-term counselling, I help you to identify and deal with specific problems that would encourage the change of behaviours. With long-term psychotherapy, I work with identitying the root cause of recurring themes or patterns in your life, and transform limitations into your inherent potentials.
In fact, there is no typical counselling session. I am highly trained in listening and reflecting, and provides a safe environment in which to explore your issues. You are free to discuss what you wish, from everyday events, dilemmas, feelings, and thoughts, to regrets, aspirations, memories and dreams.
A regular weekly commitment is required.
Having a regular, scheduled weekly therapy sessions over a period of time, can contribute to a feeling of safety and trust that allows you and me to work on a deeper and more effective level.

"When I first came to Yingli, I was quite timid and have struggled with my confidence for a long time. My previous therapist diagnosed me with a Personality Disorder called Covert Narcissist, which hurt me and increased my shame. Yingli does not label or judge. She actually helped me to remove the label and discover self-love. I find her therapeutic style very compassionate and supportive, she is a great listener, therapist and adviser. It feels like talking to a friend who deeply care about my wellbeing. Each session feels empowering. I am extremely grateful to meet her."
