Why self-esteem & self-worth matter to us

I notice from my clinical experiences that people with low self-esteem and self-worth often display other psychological and emotional problems, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and relationship problems etc.

This is because self-esteem would affect the way we treat ourselves and how we are treated by others. Imagine that you have thoughts or feelings that you are not good enough or not worthy of having great things in life, this can translate into behaviours based on this self-perception. Then you are likely to have a hard time to set healthy personal boundaries and express your needs in a confident manner, as a result it will affect your interpersonal relationship and your wellbeing.

 

I provide a down-to-earth and non-judgemental experience for you in which you can feel safe to reflect on your issues and find a way forward.

My approach

I use an integrative and spiritual approach to heal, transform and bring about the changes you desire.

One single session will not include all of the following techniques, I will look at the themes and emotions that you bring to each session to determine what is appropriate and effective to help you solve a particular problem.
